Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Stomatch, including the mobile apps, web application, and this website (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or accessing the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Stomatch.

1. What Stomatch Is

Stomatch is a social prediction platform where users swipe to call stocks, indices, commodities, and bonds bullish or bearish. Predictions are tracked against market data and scored through a rating system called MMR. All participation is simulated — no real money is wagered, invested, or transferred at any point.

Nothing on Stomatch constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading recommendations, or any other form of professional financial guidance. The Service is provided for educational and entertainment purposes only. Always consult a qualified financial professional before making real investment decisions.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use Stomatch. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.

During closed beta, access requires an invitation. Stomatch may revoke beta access at any time without notice.

3. Predictions and MMR

Every swipe creates a public prediction record. Stomatch evaluates open predictions at market close using data from third-party providers. MMR changes are applied automatically based on price movements relative to your call. Evaluation results are final.

MMR has no monetary value. It cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for anything of real-world value. Stomatch may adjust scoring formulas or reset ratings as the platform evolves; we will communicate material changes in advance where possible.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post — predictions, feed posts, polls, and messages. By posting, you grant Stomatch a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote that content within the Service and in marketing materials.

You are solely responsible for what you post. Do not share content that is unlawful, defamatory, deceptive, or that infringes third-party rights. We may remove content that violates these terms without prior notice.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to coordinate market manipulation or spread knowingly false financial information.
  • Scrape, crawl, or copy any data from the Service in bulk without written permission.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the apps or API.
  • Create multiple accounts to game the MMR system or leaderboard.
  • Harass, threaten, or harm other users.
  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law.

6. Market Data

Price and fundamental data displayed on Stomatch is sourced from third-party providers. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but cannot guarantee that data is complete, current, or error-free. Do not rely on Stomatch data for real trading decisions.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stomatch and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim or fifty US dollars (USD $50).

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, for material changes, notify you via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after the updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance.
